Rushmore is a perfect combination of dark and light grays. Inspired by the color blends of gray granite found on Mount Rushmore. A:  We installed on painted drywall and just used the glue they required .. turned out better than I expected.. and also did a sealer on them made them a little darker.

      A:  Don’t do it like tile. It will be messed up. Look up on YouTube for grouting brick. Here is a YouTube video. https://youtu.be/gZcIallJSLQ

        A:  Yes, we do recommend the tile grout. We also recommend using a grout bag.

          A:  We tried thinset and it did not look or cooperate well. Thinset will look too smoothe and muddy. We ended up using regular sanded gray grout which looked much more appropriate for brick.

            A:  I installed the brick over dry wall with mastic - which made it very easy. Then I used sanded grout (one of the greys) with a grout bag then smoothed down the grout with a joint raker. After letting it set a bit, then I used a stiff brush to clean the brick off. It really looks nice.

                      I love the look of this brick. That being said, these corners were horrible to work with. Most of them came broken. So I had to make several returns and put together my own boxes of good ones. They also are drastically different thicknesses and lengths. The length problem was the short end. Its about 1/4 -3/8" difference between some. Which is huge running down a 9' wall. I understand there will be some variations in thicknesses. but these were drastic. I should of taken a picture of them. I wish I could of avoided using them. I would recommend going through the box before you buy and trying your best to get them as similar as possible.

I think the Rushmore color ends up looking a little darker in real life than they appear online in the product info. They do seem to be real fragile just due to the nature of the corner. 3 of the 25 I ordered were broken at the corner in the box when the arrived. Be sure to keep that in mind when ordering. Overall, these are a great product.
