Thank you for your interest in Old Mill Brick! Our thin brick cuts easily with an angle grinder or wet tile saw.
I used Loctite 0 second power grap for my interior kitchen vertical wall application and it held very well - allowing some time to make small adjustments.
We used the mortar that Red Mill makes (same brand as the bricks).
My application was on a wall (vertical surface). I used a Loctite adhesive that said it was instant grab (about $8.00 a tube) and it worked well. Nothing moved after it was placed on the wall. Not sure what to use on a flat surface. The way you grout it probably makes a difference.
Actually, I used this brick on my walls & did not seal. So not sure on the sealer for floors. All I know is I love this brick.
Sanded Grout typically. I would use something like this. https://www.homedepot.com/p/SAKRETE-50-lb-Non-Shrink-Precision-Grout-65450041/206934617 There are instructions on Youtube on how to grout this. You use a grout bag. Don't do it like you would normal tile. You would be disappointed.
You could. Depending on whether the stairs are indoor or out you would use a different adhesive.
We do not recommend installing over wood siding. We recommend installing over cement board.
I would not. It needs to have a sturdy backing, such as cement board or at the very least hardiboard
Why would You? I suppose if you had the right kind of adhesive, mortar etc. You could. They will be very heavy.i used mine solely for flooring an entranceway, no gravity issues there...
That takes into account the grout line
I don’t see why not. These are real brick, just thin like a tile. I do t think I’d use them outdoors in a very cold climate as they may crack. Contact manufacturer
Yes they can be used for a front porch floor.
