Healthy but sparse, slow to arrive
These little barberries came thousands of miles from Portland OR to Phila. They arrived healthy. they are only 1 gal plants but I expected a little more on top. In a new bed, you can hardly see them. Seems like not much for their $29 each. Well I know how these grow so, in time I'll be hacking them back.
Ordered thursday, arrived 11 days later on Monday.

I received a beautiful barberry. It is So much The barberry that I receievd was SO much larger than I expected. It is also in GREAT condition. I'm really impressed and I couldn't ask for anything to be better.

So far, so good
The shrub arrived well packed to ensure both its protection and keeping the soil in its place and moist. The root system looks healthy. Many of the leaves were falling off, but the shrub still looks healthy. It is now in the ground and looks good. Time will tell. . .

ordered 3 of these. when they arrived, I opened the box and all three had barely any leaves on them. They look nothing like the ones in the pictures on the website. I planted them and watered twice a week for two weeks. No new growth. Sadly disappointed with this purchase. I will be returning all three to the store for a refund.

This shrub comes bent and thrown in a box loose with no packing material to protect it. Not even a bag around the container to prevent dirt from coming out. There was literally dirt on my front step before I even opened the package from it leaking out of the crack in the box. Pathetic and totally careless. The plant is barely purple and is completely smushed. Can not believe I wasted fifty dollars on two of these. And I’m stuck with them since I’m not going anywhere during covid. Maybe I should crumple them up and slap them loose in a garbage bag and mail them back. That way they’ll already have a bag to throw these worthless plants in the garbage.
