A: Hello! You do have to shake the popper for best results, so as long as the grill grate gets hot enough and you can keep enough distance from it, then yes it can.
A: The pan is an aluminum 4 quart pan. It is not non stick. Some foods may discolor the aluminum, which is normal, and will not harm you or your popcorn.
A: Sorry for late response, been camping, anyway the pot itself can be used but has it many limitations, so the answer would be NO! First the pot itself has no handle it relies solely on on the lid which the flimsy handle attaches to, which the lid has 3 clips to attach to the lip of the pot, so it will not hold the weight of soup or any heavy food solid for long. A popcorn popper at the most.
A: You could not, what?
A: No sure what the question is
A: Purchased this item and works great!
A: The open fire has a long, telescopic handle so it may be shook over a fire. While you could shake it over a gas stove, it is not very user friendly. There is not a stirring mechanism, so you have to shake the pan.
A: Yes, you may use any popcorn and any oil you prefer.
A: Yes, any pop corn will work.
