Yes. As long as it is a concentrate and had a dilution rate, this sprayer will work. It is not useable for "ready to use" (pre-diluted) product
Thank you for your question regarding Ortho Dial 'N Spray Hose End Sprayer. The product will only dispense when the trigger is pulled. We encourage you to contact us at 877-220-3089 if there is anything else that we can assist you with.
No, you must use it with liquid concentrate. Unless of course you dissolve the solids however I would put it through a strainer as it might plug up one of the jets.
Im not sure I understand your question but, I don't see why not. In fact I used it to spray around and under trees for ticks.
With the spray pattern set to jet, I was able to spray about 20ft. I do have high water pressure however.
Yes, that is my understanding.
3 oz per gallon
You can set the dialer to mix a certain amount of concentrated liquid in the bottle with water from the hose to form a gallon of solution being sprayed. Suppose you set the dialer to 8 fl oz/gallon. When you spray, the sprayer will mix the liquid from the bottle with water from the hose at a ratio of 8:120, so that the sprayed solution contains 8 fl oz of the concentrated liquid per gallon (128 fl oz) of solution. In your case, you can dissolve the required amount of fertilizer in water at a concentration of 1 tablespoon per 8 fl oz of water, and put it into the bottle. Set the dial to 8 fl oz per gallon and then spray. You can experiment with other concentrations and change the dial accordingly. This sprayer lets you select from 1 teaspoon per gallon to 8 fl oz per gallon.
That would completely depend on what chemical you put into it. If the product says it will kill them, then this sprayer will work for that.
Thank you for your interest in Ortho Dial 'N Spray Hose End Sprayer. As long as the dilution rate is on the dial of the sprayer, it should not pose any problems.
