A: To the best of my knowledge it is not fire resistant.

A: Hello RonD, Owens Corning Foamular can be cut with a table saw. We would recommend a fine tooth/finish blade. Aldo a dust hood with vacuum would be helpful. Thank you for your inquiry!
A: From everything I have read you should use the foamular 250 instead of the 150. The foamular 250 in a 2 inch thickness is what I used under my concreate when putting in a radiant heat system. It's denser and will resists compressing better.
A: Hello EliS, Foamular 150 has a compressive strength of 15 psi. If this is sufficient compressive strength for the application it could be used. However, typically higher strength products are used under slab. Thank you for your inquiry!
A: Hello Christi, we cannot make any recommendations for using Foamular in this application. Please note that the outer layer of the Foamular will degrade after extended UV exposure, and the product is also combustible. Thank you for your inquiry!
A: Yes, it can be in contact with the ground. Rigid insulation can not be left without some protective material to keep UV from degrading the insulation.
