Owens Corning FOAMULAR NGX (Next Generation Extruded) insulation, is produced with a proprietary blowing agent that delivers a 90% reduction to Global Warming Potential (100 year) compared to current FOAMULAR. The new formulation and production process meets or exceeds new, more stringent regulatory standards without sacrificing product performance and offers a comprehensive line of products in a wide choice of sizes, thicknesses and edges with a Lifetime limited warranty for the life of the home or building. Foam insulation boards are easy to handle, score, cut and install & no special tools are needed. Foam insulation products can be used on wood, steel framing or concrete walls. FOAMULAR NGX resists moisture and retains R-value even after exposure to standing water and wet soil. Will this work for a shed type structure built to enclise a water filtration system that had to be put outside? It will havec4 wslls, and a roof.

We recommend referencing section 6.6 of the UL Evaluation Report to ensure your structure meets the requirements to have the Foamular NGX left Exposed. Can you stucco panels
Hello Bummer, Stucco is compatible to be used with our Foamular NGX products. When using stucco, a drainage layer should be applied in between the Foamular NGX and the metal lath/stucco. The bedroom and floor above my garage is always colder than the others in the winter. The garage ceiling has fiberglass insulation and drywall. Can I put this rigid insulation board on top of the drywall ceiling to make the room and floor not as cold ?
Hello Scott, Owens Corning Foamular NGX products are combustible and must be covered by a 15-minute thermal barrier such as 1/2" drywall. If adding over drywall, it will need an additional thermal barrier over it. Exteriorly, If this is exposed to occasional rain will this product deteriate?
Hello Jerry, Foamular Insulation should be covered as soon as possible after installation. Generally, exposure time should not exceed 60 days. Polystyrene insulation is slowly degraded if exposed to ultraviolet light or sunlight. Left exposed, Foamular insulation will exhibit fading color followed by dusting of the surface which will be brushed away by wind and rain. Exposure of Foamular Insulation during construction does not normally involve sufficient time for any degradation to occur. Thank you for your inquiry.

Hello Donn, it is not recommended to use the insulation sheathing as an underlayment product. You would need to apply a sub floor of either ¾” tongue and grove or 2 layers of 7/16” osb with off-set seams. Thank you for your inquiry!
