A: Hello, It's hard to say due to the many varying factors that may exist with your fence. The recommendation would be to purchase and try one/some out given your situation and see if they install correctly, then you could proceed from there based on your specific results. They may or may not be suitable to help in your situation and there's no way for us to know for sure if this will fix your problem. They have been known to help in certain situations depending on the severity of bowing, materials used, etc. You may also want to consult with your local fence contractor for the best advice. Thank you for your inquiry.
A: Hello, These brackets use a 1/2" bit. Please check out this video! https://youtu.be/1JaR4f4-ZRs Thank you for your inquiry!
A: Hello, This product is designed and recommended for a 2-3/8" post. However customers have used these on 1-5/8" - 2-1/2" posts. We cannot officially recommend this because the top strap of the bracket requires bending (normally happens on it's own when fastening down to post) to form to smaller or larger posts. Thank you for your inquiry.
A: 1/2" hex lag screw--1 1/4" length.
A: Hi, we would first suggest returning the incomplete item to the retailer for an exchange. Otherwise, this item comes with 4 lag screws #14-10 x 36mm. Thank you for your inquiry.
A: Sounds like someone returned and HD didn’t check before making available for sale. Return to a local store and request an exchange as they’re supposed to come with screws. You shouldn’t have to purchase separate screws on your own.
A: I purchased 1 1:2” # 10 hex washer head galvanized exterior screws for them and they worked very well. The course thread holds very good.
