Why are these not suitable for use over 30” off the ground?

We do not have compliance documentation to certify the anchors as part of a guard rail, or to support any horizontal loads which are required for projects that are 30" or more off the ground. Is it neccesary to use Sleeve covers

Our PEAK railing posts are designed as a complete system and do not use sleeve covers as part of the installation. Can they be used on the ground?

what size and type of screw or bolt?
Hello Errol, thank you for your question! Please note that screws are provided along with our post anchors. They are 1.5" Robertson screws which attach the post to the anchor and 2.5" x 3/8" Hex head screws which attach the anchor to the surface. What is the best way to mount them on composite stair decking for a hand rail and should bolts or screw lags be used? Also what size because the ones I bought there don't have any included ! Thanks
