A: Hi Juan, Here is the link to watch the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGe-o7Dougs&t=104s. There is one difference that the ball rod nut design has been changed so you don't need a gasket behind the ball as shown int he video. Rest of the instruction are the same. If this doesn't work, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can provide you the link. Thanks.
A: Hello Customer, not sure what you mean b y Spring plate - this is a complete pop-up drain assembly to install in bathroom sink and the stopper to be operated by using the pull rod from behind the sink. If you have additional questions, please contact us at email@example.com. Thanks.
A: Your sink likely has an "overflow". This will prevent the sink from overflowing, if the drain is closed and the water is accidentally left 'on', and flowing into the sink. The hole in the side of the pipe is a port that should align with the overflow in the sink. If you don't have an overflow, the drain pipe should thread in far enough that the drain seat will cover the port. Anything is possible though, so this item may not work if there isn't an overflow in your sink.
A: SO IT WILL DRAIN PROPERLY AS THE WATER GOES AROUND THE BALL VALVE.
A: It is for the overflow.
A: The hole in the pipe is called the overflow hole - this is to ensure that the water does not overflow outside the sink if you close the drain and forget to shut water in time. It appears that you may be installing this in a vessel/glass sink which doesn't have overflow - you will need a pop-up drain without overflow for such situations.
A: No, currently chrome only.
