Answer

Yes. It should fit. The flange on top is approx 2 inch wide and the hole on the sink is usually 1.5 to 1-5/8 inch. The tailpiece is 1.25 inch so it should fit. Please contact us at sales@pfwaterworks.com if you have any more questions. Thanks.

The branding is misleading. It states "Body with Overflow in Polished Brass". It doesn't say "plastic with the color of polished brass". It was very disappointing to receive.

Dear Customer - While we respect your opinion, we respectfully disagree with your statement about branding. If you read the product description and specifications, you will clearly see that it states it is made of ABS Plastic. Detailed below is the actual listing -

DecoDrain Grid Strainer Grid Drain allows for a cost effective decorative option for open vanity or vessel sinks, commercial/high traffic sinks, laundry sinks to match the finish of the faucet. Made from robust ABS never rusts unlike metal pop-up drains. Installation is quick and easy.

Elegant decorative finish - to match the faucet and fixture finish
Cost effective design - for open vanity or vessel sinks
Robust abs construction - does not corrode/rust
With overflow body - for installations in sinks with overflow
Quick and easy installation
Available in chrome, brushed nickel, polished brass, antique brass, oil rubbed bronze finishes

Further if you go into the specifications - it states as below
Material - Plastic

Lastly, this item is a cost effective item and retails for approx. $ 10, similar item in brass would sell for $ 20-$30.

You can return the product and purchase the brass version if you would like, however it doesn't seem reasonable to rate the product lower because you didn't see the specifications which are correctly listed.

Please contact us at sales@pfwaterworks.com and we can help you get the brass version of this item. Thanks. pfwaterworks

I needed something simple that does not clog. There is no need for popup drains as you hardly ever use that feature and those keep clogging. This works perfectly without any leaks the first time.

Hello Customs - The Sink Drain is made of ABS Plastic - which is the most commonly used plumbing code approved material for sink drains. The only way there can be a leak is if the product is not installed correctly - which means the gasket has not be inserted in the bottom of the sink fully and the nut not tightened fully. You need to first push the gasket in position and then you can tighten the nut and also use a wrench to tighten if needed. This has nothing to do with the product design or functionality. Kindly contact us at sales@pfwaterworks.com and we can help address your concern. Thanks. pfwaterworks

The metal was so thin. I've seen thicker razors. The should be ashamed to pass this off as a plumbing product.

Dear Customer, This is the standard grid that you would get when you buy a complete kit of tub drain or tub drain trim kit. The grid strainer is made of stainless steel which doesn't wear out and is supported by the drain shoe strainer below it. If you have concerns, please contact us directly at sales@pfwaterworks.com and we will understand the issue and help address it. Thanks.... pfwaterworks

Hello Jon - the statement doesn't make much sense - how can the drain grate be at 45 degree to overflow holes - the drain grate is on the top - and overflow holes are on the body which means at 90 deg to the grate - just like any sink drain. Can you please contact us directly at sales@pfwaterworks.coms o we can better understand your concern and offer appropriate resolution. pfwaterworks

Hello Customer, not sure what you mean by poor quality - this is an ABS plastic drain - just like most pop-up/sink drains. The ABS material is code approved for sink drains and is extensively used. We stand behind out products. Please contact us at sales@pfwaterworks.com so we can understand and address your concern. pfwaterworks

Bland. It is just okay. The drain top is flat; whereas, I wish it was sloped a little downward for better drainage. A good cheap choice if your just fixing a sink somewhere you will live for a short period of time. I returned this one. I bought the more expensive Kohler grid drain, with the downward slope that I wanted, and was very happy with that one.
