Universal Bath Tub/Bathtub Drain Trip Lever Overflow Face Plate need to disassemble the connecting ball rod from below the sink to install/remove the stopper. It provides easy access to pop-up and p-traps for cleaning or retrieval of accidently dropped jewelry. Threaded Flange and Stopper Cap design allows effortless replacement to upgrade finish.       A:  This product does not touch drinking water. As such lead ingestion is not an issue.

        A:  RoHS Compliance is not required for this product. This product is made from Zinc Alloy and not Brass. It does have a Prop 65 warning but not for lead. This product may result in an exposure to Chemicals including Butadiene which is known to the State of California to cause cancer or birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information, go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.” This information is being updated in the systems to reflect in the online listing.

          Not the right color
          Cover plate was brushed brass, not polished brass. Did not match the picture online, and does not match the spout (which I bought from Home Depot) or the valve cover. I checked the number on the package, and it ended in PB, which indicates it is polished brass. It is difficult to find polished brass fixtures, and I was happy to find one at a reasonable price. I should have checked the reviews before buying, because even the people who gave it 4 stars said it wasn't the finish pictured, nor did it match. I shouldn't have expected much for the price, but it seems pretty flimsy, too. I would not recommend this to anyone.

            Misleading Pictures
            This item is NOT polished brass, it is brushed brass. It will not match other PB fixtures and does not look like the picture provided. Same goes for the single screw version. Had to return.

              I'm fairly pleased with this product so far. Although I prefer polished brass over brushed brass, this is still a good product overall. The description shows polished brass which is a shiny brass, but it looks more like brushed brass due to the matte look.
