    A:  Yes you manually adjust, but its put together wrong so you need a mirror to see the hole bc it faces the radiator. find a better one

        Stays open
        This air valve stays open during the whole heating cycle and very loudly releases air for this time. I replaced them with Gorton valves and those work properly - release air and then snap shut when the steam hits them.
