First time user of a pneumatic floor nailer. Was a little apprehensive because I never heard of this type of floor nailer and I was very impressed. Used this on 5/16 engineered floors. Did not have any problems with jams as i tried my friends name brand nailer before. My little floor project turned out beautiful. This stapler is a little smaller than my friends which made the nailer easy to navigate around corners. Perfect weight and size for diy projects.

I have not used this brand before but it seems well-made. It is made for engineered flooring 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2" to staple into a wood subfloor using standard 18-gauge narrow crown staples up to 1-1/2" long. The foot adjusts using a tool to the right thickness of the flooring and even comes off to face nail edges. A tapping block, case, non-marring sticker for the foot, and oil are included. This crown stapler requires oil, be aware since many 18ga nailers and staplers generally don't, but it's easy to use a few drops and it helps extend the life of the tool. The tool itself is small and lightweight and easy to use. Just load with staples, oil, connect to an appropriate air compressor and start stapling. The hardest part is doing all your cuts and laying everything out correctly, but that has nothing to do with the stapler which is easy to press the trigger and staple after tapping the board into place and lining the stapler up on the board tongue. A lot easier to use especially for beginners than using a hammer and hitting the nailer itself like the old traditional cleat nailers. Jams are apparently easy to clear by loosening a couple screws, but I have not encountered any. You will need a bit more than just this stapler to install engineered flooring but with this stapler your project will be easier to tackle and within your ability.
