      The blast gates feel better than the plastic ones I also use. I would have given a 5 star, but I dropped on and the slide is so thin that it bent up pretty good. I was able to use a rubber mallet and straighten it out enough to work, but I think for the price a more sturdy product would have bee n nice.

      Works well, though I don't understand why the gate needed...
      Works well, though I don't understand why the gate needed that section that pushes out the other end. I wish this were designed like their 2.5in model where there is just a door that is either closed or open. This extra part protruding out makes it tougher to manipulate given I have 3 hoses on the ground and this often requires repositioning to move the gate. I might end up just getting another 2.5 inch gate to put the gate at the tool end instead of inline in the hoses - partially to avoid having to bend over so much. Anyway, it works.
