      A:  It should have no problem. There is extreme latitude in the spacing for the mounting screws to the quick release brackets.

        A:  I haven't been able too with my DeWalt 779. The saw is too heavy and I can't tighten it anymore. Even when transporting it around the garage it will slide to the low side. I will say that this stand is awesome though and I was surprised at how well it's held up in the year plus I've used it. It's not the top of the line but man does it make life easier.

          A:  No. Found it very difficult to store with or without saw attached. Also disappointed with the position of power outlet. Pros: Very sturdy and easy to move in most terrains.

            A:  I tried and failed. I returned it and got a different one from harbor freight that can be stored vertically with the saw attached.

              If You Are looking for this style of saw stand. This is the one to buy. Built the best to other brands of this style. You will not be disappointed. I looked at a lot of theses before I bought this one. This is built strong and sturdy. And for the kicker it comes with a built in receptacle. which I didn't really need but is nice to have.. Thanks powertec for a great product. Hard to find these days. Money well spent.

              Excellent miter saw stand with features the big boys don't have! After getting a Ryobi 12" sliding miter saw from HD and using it for a few days, my wife suggested I get a proper stand. Looking at the Ryobi stand I thought it looked cheap, without wheels or rollers on the extensions. Other stands seemed too expensive for what they were. This Powertec stand was just right. It has features the other ones don't have such as 3 power outlets, nice rollers with flip-up stops, and fold down pegs to hold moldings down below the work area. The power outlets are handy for my other tools so I don't have to swap the extension cord. This stand is sturdy, well made, and more than meets my expectations. I recommend it highly.

              I recived the stand on April 26. Assembled the stand today. Very easy to put together. Very sturdy when the saw is on it. Very happy!!

                This little stand works great!
                This little stand works great, I have a 12in sliding compound miter saw and this holds it stable without shifting or tipping. The on-board three prong outlet is handy and does not get in the way, if I had one thing that I would change it would be the mounting bolts, as they are on the small side.
