End result is worth the time!
I wanted an update to the master bathroom. I finished the tile and knew the paint needed updating to match. It took two coats, making sure the first coat was completely dry before starting the second coat. But it looks fantastic!

Not perfect but very good.
The reviews for this paint seem to be either one star or five stars. I think the one star reviewers are either expecting too much from this paint or are not applying it correctly. Your results are not going to look like something out of Dwell Magazine unless your surfaces are blemish free and you apply the paint with a sprayer using several coats. But you can get good results rolling it on. I used the silver metallic with the Rejoice tint color. I am decent at painting, but far from an expert. I did a ceiling that is not smooth, and I am happy with the results. I can see the surface blemishes, but I could see them when it was painted with regular paint too, and I was not up for replastering a ceiling! So this won’t cover them up. I wanted a textured look, not a solid even color. I think that is what this paint is best for, if you have average painting skills and no sprayer. Be sure to prime the surface first. To cut in the edges, us a dabbing technique with a brush or sponge. If you use a small roller, the edges will come out much darker and it will be hard to blend them into the rest of the surface. Use a 1/2” high-end roller for the first coat. Don’t put too much paint on the roller. I would roll in all different directions, or use W or X patterns. I mistakenly rolled all in one direction, and it was difficult to cover up the lines on the second coat. For the second coat use a textured roller, again with not too much paint and going in all directions. If you want a more solid color you are going to need more than 2 coats, and the results will likely be darker than the swatch sample. I think you might also get a cool textured effect by using a base coat of regular paint similar to the color of your PPG metallic paint, and then go over it with one coat of the PPG paint using a textured roller. Good luck!

Not like swatch
Super disappointed that it didn't turn out like the swatch!!. We picked Flintlock, but walls just look like a bronze gold. ZERO texture as looked in swatch book... And it takes 2 coats before the sponged roll as 3rd coat!!! Beware!!

Beautiful color. I bought a table with a very ugly gold color for the legs. I realized it would look better silver, and when I went there were different metallic silver tones I could choose from. I got Metallic Memories (MTL105). It is beautiful. I did 3-5 coats and I am in love!

Looks great, the faux finish roller as the final coat is a must, otherwise showed a lot of roller lines. Compliments my accent wall very nicely. Definitely needs more coats than recommended to get the coverage. At least with the lighter silvery shade I had selected. Maybe the darker ones have better coverage.
