Iron+Arsenic+Sulfer. All taken care of.
The tank comes with *very* detailed instructions and the steps were clear. The warnings in the reviews cover that drain line pretty well, so I made sure it was not going anywhere. The difference is nothing short of stunning. The rust / iron that was clearly present before the tank installation - is GONE. No rust colored paper towels when drying dishes. Soap lathers! Who knew?!? It seems kind of strange, but I am noticing better results in the laundry, shower - you name it.

Filters nothing..literally nothing
I've had this for some months and if anything I've noted rust building up faster on the water receiving surfaces of my home, like shower walls and sink bottoms. Picture attached of sink bottom was taken roughly three days after scrubbing spotless to replace drain baskets. It used to take a couple weeks for rust buildup to be visible on the sink. Now it's like the backwash rinse is pocketing double deposits to stick. The sad part is that my water wasn't bad in the first place, like rust concentration at last water test was half the ppm this claims it'll filter. My water tastes exactly the same as it did before installation so clearly there's nothing being removed

Nice water filter system for a home on a well. Had to reduce the 1" connections to fit my 3/4" plumbing. Did that with 1" male thread to 3/4" female pipe Shark Bite. Had to order that elsewhere being the Depot didn't stock them. Screwed them directly in to the bypass valve and discarded the 1" flexible pipe included in the kit. Filter quickly eliminated the sulfur smell and cleared up the water. TDS reading dropped from 250 to 130. Only bummer is the 100 gallons it uses every 3 nights to flush the system. Worried it may stress my septic longterm but so far so good.

Arrived early. Sadly, couldn't use the 2 1" hoses due to no one carrying 1" fittings. Just made fittings from 3/4" PVC line & 3/4" adapters. Unit works great! You could immediately tell the difference in water quality. My softened now felt soapy as it used to with old iron bottle.
