This is a beautiful door! The solid wood and sturdy construction of the door makes me feel very safe. This was not a new install; it was a remodel and I replaced my existing 3' front door. Originally when purchased, I planned on just replacing the old door with the new door. However, when I picked up the door and noticed the trim around the door, I decided to replace the complete unit. I had the door for almost 2 months before the guys were available to do the install . Lucky for me the 2 guys that installed the door knew what they were doing. They knew right off that I had a slight problem. The door specified brickmould and my house is brick so I figured that it would fit. I did not pay attention to the specified dimensions, 4-9/16 in. x 38 in. x 82 in. rough opening for proper fit. My opening on all measurements was slightly bigger. Trim and shims finished out the height and width without any issues. The issue was with the depth of 4-9/16 in. which was not wide enough to extend the door jam out to the back edge of the brick that surrounds the front door. My install team removed the trim and ripped a 1 x 6 down to make up the difference. To complete the install, the inserted filler needs to be stained. Having had the door less than 24 hours, I can't make any comments on longevity. The door replaced was 16 years old and I see this door lasting twice that long or longer. The description says "Amber Highlights". Pay attention to that if the color yellow bothers you. I did not notice the color yellow on the pictures online. I was a little concerned that I wouldn't be able to see who was at the front door. You can actually see through the stained glass in certain places, so there is no need for a peep hole. When it says "Knotty" it means knotty. The only real "complaint" that I have is there is one really big knot right by the outside door knob holes. There were three other places that the bored holes could have been placed that would not have been around such a prominent knot if the door knob placement was considered early on in the manufacturing process. Overall, I love the door. It far exceeds my expectations. The guys that did the install were very complimentary on the quality of the door. It looks great! Notes: Ordered online, picked up in store. The customer service was exceptional when picking up the product. Door had slight damage on the trim, so a small concession was made on the price. I did not use Home Depot for the installation, only because I initially planned on doing it myself. Next purchase at Home Depot - New Door Knobs!

ordered and received at local store, but upon inspection it did not have the lentin shelf depicted in the photos and described in the product description; store assisted me in completely unpackaging and inspecting it on the spot, but still no shelf; the correct item was shipped (SKU matched what was packaged) I looked for any type of customer assistance with Pacific Entries but there isn't any; could find nobody to explain the discrepancy; returned item for refund

The door did not come with the Dentil shelf as pictured.

Came very nicely crated and completely intact. My wife is quite pleased with it, and we hope to install it very shortly!
