Q:Is the four solid wood or hollow?

Answer This Question

A:  This door is solid wood with an engineered core and 1/8" plank faces on the vertical stiles which resist any bowing or cupping. The horizontal rails and all panels are solid edgeglued. All parts of this door are wood, NO composite.

    A:  Yes, You would need to sand the entire surface with 150 grit sandpaper, apply a primer and the the top coat paint color of choice.

      Door sill is flush with door frame. Sill extension is needed to allow overhang from house to prevent water from seeping into house. Extension sill is available through Pacific Entries. Door itself is looks good and is high in quality.
