A:  You should be fine. I measured mine install. The stop mounted on the rail is about 1 1/2”, the hanging hardware is inset from the edge of the door about 1 3/8”. 74” would allow for the 36” door full access. Do you have 37” on either side of the 32” opening? That would be the minimum required for full access. If you have a little less, the door slab would not clear the 32” opening.

A:  That would be very close even with the door opening on one side (edge) of the wall. Obviously the door has to clear the opening. That's the size of our opening. Ours just clears the opening. The slide bar stops are in 6in from one side and 4in on the other. Depending on where your opening is you would have about 10in the play with which is 4 extra inches for the stops. If it will fit buy it. The door set with hardware is complete with predrilled holes and everything fits. We had to totally measure, drill, adjust etc on a double set of sliders for a bedroom closet. It was a real pain. The door stains beautifully and it looks great. Sorry. It won't load the full view photo.

A:  Yes, you can cut the rail to any length, just may have to drill a mounting hole for a stand off, no big deal at all. I am extremely happy with the quality of the doors.

A:  Very nice door. Great price too. Stains beautifully. My opening is 31in and it covers no problem. If you have molding I would think you want it to cover the molding when shut. We took our molding off because of the door that was there. I'm going to order a triple door setup for a closet in one of our bedrooms. As long as it covers the opening and any trim you will love it. I took photos but iCloud didn't load to laptop. I'll try to send later but I just wanted to get this out to you as I am traveling.

A:  It could cover a 32 inch opening with a 2 inch frame.

A:  It depends on the look you are after. If you want privacy so you can't see around the door then you need about an inch on either side so that would mean a 34" opening. I have two doors and they just overlap by about 1/2". It simply closes off the kids tv/xbox area so no privacy needs.

A:  We covered a 2-8 x 6-8 cased opening with this door. Door had 1x4 trim around it. My owners loved it and I as the Builder did too. Not hard to install. Could cover 1 2-10 x 6-8 door too.

A:  30” opening with 3” overlap on each side or 32” with 2” overlap on each side. BTW, the door sits off the trim the track is on approx. 1/2”.

A:  Here is a follow up on my previous answer including photos. We did add our own massive handle that matched our new kitchen cabinet handles. We also painted and glued some bigger caps that were put over the screws that are on the door to make it a little more rustic and to match our other kitchen cabinets.
