Tape worked well in an outdoor environment where the project was taped for 3 days uncovered. Tape was easy to remove without residue.

Faux Kitchen backsplash
I wanted the look of ceramic tile, but not the permanence (in case it got boring) as a back-splash in my kitchen. Using Painter's Mate masking tape to block off the "grout lines" for this project was a cinch. I could reposition the tape easily if it was a little crooked, and when I removed the tape after painting, it left a nice sharp line. Using a sea sponge, a dry paintbrush, and some paint from Home Depot's "Ooops" shelf..(excellent quality paint, just mis-tinted), I created what I think is a great looking backsplash for my kitchen for under twenty dollars!

Low tack tape with many applications.
As well as for edging when painting, I like to use this tape to keep drawers in place while moving furniture. I also used it with the brown floor protecting paper to keep it in place. The low tack won't damage the finish on furniture or a floor, and it is easy to remove.

Overpriced Green Tape
This tape has poor adhesion, requires extensive pre-cleaning for good adhesion and keep paint off surfaces not required to be painted. Paint will seep through, suggest higher quality Frog Tape which works excellent for cutting jobs or around ceiling perimeter.

Use for painting
Works well except I still get bleed under and you have be really careful how it’s used.

Less Than Ideal
I used this tape for the first half of my project and eventually grew so frustrated that I upgraded to a superior product. I won't use this tape again. It tears too easily (so you end up peeling off partial strips, then tinkering to fix it) and is too sticky for painted surfaces, causing damage when removing. I've observed this on paint a few days old and on paint that's many years old.

Rips easily leaving bits on the wall
When pulled off the wall it leaves little pieces that are hard to then take off. Wish the tape was sturdier.

The worst tape ever
This is without fail the most obnoxious and useless tape I have ever used. For the price I thought it'd be a really decent product but the cheap blue tape at Dollar General is infinitely better than this. It's very thin and tears easily if you try to readjust it. One itty bitty piece got stuck and it took forever to get it off. This roll is in the trash as we speak and I'm very much not one to waste anything whatsoever. It's truly the worst.
