Faux Kitchen backsplash
I wanted the look of ceramic tile, but not the permanence (in case it got boring) as a back-splash in my kitchen. Using Painter's Mate masking tape to block off the "grout lines" for this project was a cinch. I could reposition the tape easily if it was a little crooked, and when I removed the tape after painting, it left a nice sharp line.
Using a sea sponge, a dry paintbrush, and some paint from Home Depot's "Ooops" shelf..(excellent quality paint, just mis-tinted), I created what I think is a great looking backsplash for my kitchen for under twenty dollars!

It's green, it's tape. What more can you ask for.

DO NOT BUY
Absolute garbage tape. Peals the paint right off and creates more work. Buy the blue stuff instead.
