The combination of an ECM motor with SmartFlow Technology assures optimum airflow and CFM output as stated, meeting code compliance and reducing callbacks. The 1600-Watt Positive Temperature Coefficient heater delivers instant warmth for comfort and the Flex-Z-Fast bracket allows room side installation. Q:Can this fan run continuously for long periods? I have a septic smell that is being worked on, but the septic company suggested I get a Panasonic fan that can run continuosly for a long time to eliminate the smell.

Answer This Question

A:  Panasonic DC motors are designed and tested for continuous run and there is absolutely no reason in which you couldn't run the exhaust feature of this fan. We do have 2 specific models that have a 2-speed function that are intended to run at continuous low speed level and then can be boosted to a higher speed via a wall switch. Please see the FV-0810VSL1 and the FV-0511VKSL2. If you need a heat function the unit you have asked about would be the only option that has the heater as part of the unit.

      A:  Please note that Panasonic has many different divisions that are represented on this web site: Consumer Electronics (which is the bulk of the questions on this site) such as microwaves, shavers, irons, cordless phones, digital cameras, and Blueray is a different division than the ventilation division. I can not speak to Consumer Electronics but the ventilation division does monitor this site as well as our web inquiries and we do try to respond to any inquiries within 48 hours of receiving the lead.
