There is a website for Pavestone where you can plug in your measurement and it will give you the number of pavers needed. You can also use combination of different sizes. Just Google the name and you will find it.
Yes, they are a mixture of different colors.
I don't see why not, however, I would plan on using some sort of adhesive/mortar to secure them as they do not interlock nor weigh all that much.
A proper install requires excavation of several inches of soil and 4-6" of base topped with 1" of sand. 12x10 is 120 square feet. 1" of sand would be 10 cubic feet of sand or 20 - .5 cf bags of sand. The same calculations apply to base so at 4" you would need 4 times that many bags of base or 80 - .5 cf bags of base. I would advise buying both of these in bulk if that is an option, it is far far cheaper that way. The pavers depend upon the pattern you use (are you using the other 2 sizes as well or just this size). Just this size would be roughly 700 pavers plus about another 10-15% for waste (all depends on your pattern), ending up at 770-800 (you can always return excess stones as well). You should also plan on some sort of retainer around the outside edges.
