Q:How many sq ft will i need of each of the (3) different sizes to do a patio of 780sq ft?
by|Sep 24, 2022

Answer This Question

A:  That depends on the pattern you use. The pattern determines how much waste there is. The least waste is a simple running bond, like the brickwork on a house. It requires you to cut a brick in half on each course, but you can use that half on the next course, so there is no waste. Herring bone results in a cut on every edge paver, so a lot of waste, and cutting work. You can look up various patterns on the internet, calculate the number of pavers for east repetitive pattern, calculate the total area covered by the repetitive pattern, and then divide that into the total area. Calculate in square inches rather than square feet

A:  Sure they can. They are nice and heavy.

    by|Apr 17, 2022

A:  Absolutely!  I have used them for several areas in my yard.

      by|Apr 10, 2022

A:  I believe they can if you prepare the ground underneath them so it is very flat.  I have used them as a border around one plant and it looks good.

        by|Apr 11, 2022

A:  They could be used as a border in a garden. Either laid flat or on its side

          by|Apr 11, 2022

A:  Yes, they are concrete. Should be nice. I use the small ones to border my blower beds.

Great for indoor porch over concrete
I used these 10.5 x 7 in pavers for an indoor porch which originally had thin industrial carpet over concrete. They added an aged and elegant look. I get so many compliments. They completely changed the room. We laid right over the concrete floor using the appropriate adhesive (Loctite or Liquid Nails) and filled the gaps with polymer sand after (which hardens after a light spray of water). Very pleased. Did not want to just paint the concrete floors or lay down cheap industrial carpet. This added elegance to the space.

I am a computer programmer by trade and clearly not a paver patio installer and I thank god this product is very forgiving. The natural texture hides any inconsistencies in my craftsmanship. I know it turned out great because the wife was very impressed. Another great thing about this paver is that it is 1/2 inch thinner than comparable pavers at other big box stores. That means less weight to carry and position in place. If you prefer a more polished look you can always use Miracle Sealant to darken the appearance and smooth out the rough surface. All in all I recommend this product.

Product produced a very pleasant cobble-stone effect on a large patio (32'x12') and stairs leading to it. I used 7"x7" staggered pavers on the patio, with 7"x10.5" end pieces on offset rows and as a border. I used 7"x10.5" staggered pavers on the stairs - this gave me variety for a great effect. Very pleased with the result!

I like it. It's attractive. Only problem is finding pieces that aren't chipped
