Can this be used as a wall cap for the Sierra Blend wall blocks?

Answer

I did the same. It was close enough, and leaves a much better look than the wall blocks alone. The Paver stones had a white (salt) deposit which needs to be cleaned off after completion.

Many of the paver stones I purchased have a white residue on them. I tried water and a stiff brus...

I too had the same problem and tried pressure washing alone and it made little difference. What did work was spraying a light film of muriatic acid on the pavers then washing it off with my inexpensive pressure washer. I think just a garden hose would do the job too. The white residue I believe is cement leftover from the manufacturing process.

What type of mortar do I need to use this as a wall cap?

According to the Home Depot calculator for the 10.5” x 7” pavestone. You will need 135 pavestones to cover the 100 sq. feet. This would include an extra 10% to cover potential waste and breakage.

can these pavers be used for a driveway? I have 2 trucks the heaviest being 11k lbs.

They are not rated for vehicular traffic.

What’s the best sand to use for the final setting the pavers.

The Pavestone leveling sand that Home Depot carries is good. Also, using a plate compactor with a pad to prevent scratching the surface is a good idea. Either that, or you can wet sand the surface. Thank you for your inquiry!

Try some strong cleaning vinegar (30%+) on them followed by a rinse with a garden hose.

Has anyone used these to make a square fire pit? If so, how has it worked out for you?

I have putdown hundreds of these in my yard over the past couple of years and they look grate. They can be easily cut with a mason blade on a chop saw.

I recently had to replace my cracked sidewalk, so I decided to go with the Pavestone RumbleStone 10.5" x 7", Sierra Blend Pavers. I liked the natural color of the stone which complemented the colors of my home. I never replaced a sidewalk before so I decided to watch a variety of Home Depot and youtube "do it yourself" videos to get an idea of how much labor and materials were needed for the job. The sidewalk was about 48" x 12'. All the materials including the pavers cost less than $500 which was much more cost effective than paying a contractor. It took about two days of hard labor to finish the job. In the end It was well worth the hard work. I was very pleased, as well as my neighbors, with the final result. The natural look of the stone looks fantastic. I definitely recommend the Pavestone Rumblestone concrete pavers.

Excellent
We used these stones as paver stones along with the matching 7 in. square stones and the 3.5 in. x 7 in. stones. The perfect look we were looking for. Easy to install and thick enough to walk on without moving. We mixed all 3 of them at random. My photos do not do the stones justice. The photos are washed out. The actual stones have a lot more rich earth tone color to them. I highly recommend them.
