Each block measures 17.5 inches x 17.5 inches x 24.5 inches.

Is it possible to turn the block planters into a gas fire feature?

Asked by Bill September 13, 2019

Yes, it is easy to convert this into a propane or natural gas burning fire feature. Look up EasyFirePits and check out their Gas Kits and Burners made of Marine Grade Stainless Steel. Straight forward parts that connect together in minutes! Also a lot of tips and tricks as well as Q&A for the DIY conversion process.

Asked by AdamG August 27, 2018

A couple of reasons for that. The first is that the freight is built into that kit. When purchasing from Home Depot, the freight is prorated over the all of the pallets on a truck. Also, the cost of handling on the back end. The guys at the plant break down the pallets and re-palletize into the kits so it’s handled multiple times. Kits just make it more simple on the front end. Thank you for your inquiry!

For just the bricks, this is a very expensive kit. We thought that the bench came with it but we should have read the fine print. It does not. Not only that, there were many pieces missing and we simply got a small sum reimbursed. To get the missing pieces shipped, we had to call multiple numbers and get transferred multiple times and they still couldn’t figure out what stones the kit consisted of. Very disappointed.

They fell a little short literally. The order was short 15 small stones and 5 medium stones. Home Depot customer service told me yesterday 4/20 that they would ship out with in the next 48 hrs and I would get an email or phone call confirming. I haven’t heard anything yet and it’s been 24 hrs.

The bench itself is great. However, there were not enough pieces to complete the project. I had to go through Home Depot to get more parts sent to me which set my project back over two weeks. I really think that the quantities listed with this kit are just simply short of the amount you actually need. Other than that, once it was completed, I was pleased.
