Happy Hummers
Love the large capacity. I used to fill three 32 oz. feeders every day. This gets me down to 2. Be aware it is a plastic reservoir. I didn't read carefully and thought it was glass. The base does not come apart for cleaning unless you take the screws out. Other than that, I am very happy with my purchase and my hummers are happy!

I love the simple way you can clean them & our hummers love the way the base is ~ I have had this style for many years now & when my last one broke (our fault) I couldn't find another one so I bought 3 different kinds trying to find the one my hummers would like :) For a brief time no store or online place had them in stock so after returning 3 different kinds I found one they were ok with. When this arrived & I hung it the other feeder was last resort only hehehe sounds crazy but my hummers are happy lil birdies now with the Grand Master, thank you

Big Feeder for Little Hummers
A complete cleaning of the feeder is needed before assembly. The feeder takes no time to assemble, and it's really easy. Everything about the feeder is as it is reported on line. However, make sure that you hang the feeder in a location that allows for some dripping. The food will slosh inside when freshly filled, and with wind, which causes the dripping on the outer edge of the underside, but that's only for a short period. If you have a lot of birds feeding like I do, regular changing of the food is no big deal. If you have a hot location, and the feeder is in direct sunlight, you might want to fill the feeder halfway to avoid fermentation. I haven't had that problem, but it could happen. My feeder is under a tree branch, and doesn't get direct sunlight too often, mostly late afternoon. Just food for thought.
Over all, this feeder looks, and works great, and I'd recommend it to anyone. The price is good for the money when you consider how much those little feeders cost, and how often you need to clean and fill them. The fun of having this hummingbird feeder is watching the birds vying for a feeding spot. it's like watching children at recess.

Still in the box
We are waiting until we move to set this up. We currently have a bird feeder and don't have room for both. I had bought this same model at the Goodwill years ago and was immensely pleased, both with the product, and with watching hummingbirds. I would recommend one for every yard, except that there may not be enough birds to go around ;)

Cons - I'm trying to be fair, but for me - buying this was a mistake. 48oz?- I probably would be better with 4.8oz.
I see hummers every day, none have gone near it yet - only hanging from my porch for about 2 weeks though.
So I'm not filling it all the way, only about an inch or 2 of liquid with each change.
I think it will eventually attract some birds, but a much smaller reservoir would have been better in my case.
