Compatible with PVC an all other vent pipe types. A nailing flange is incorporated for traditional fastening to roof deck. Avoid using old fashioned vent pipe flashings that utilize rubber or neoprene gaskets to seal out water which fail in a matter years allowing water to enter the home and cause damage to sheetrock, insulation, paint and hardwood floors etc. The Perma-Boot will stand up to all weather extremes and is warranted for the life of the shingle. Available in black, brown, weathered wood and gray to match your shingles. Made in the USA.

I have had a Perma-boot on my roof for close to twenty years and it still looks brand new and still hasn't leaked. Have used other pipe boots and they crack and leak. Another reviewer said they seemed flimsy but once it's put on the pipe and secured to roof it firms up. So I bought another one for different pipe on my roof and we will see how long this one lasts. As always imho

Not as robust as I expected
Happy with: PRO#1)timeframe part was shipped to my local home depot PRO#2)when I arrived at the store they immediately handed me the part, instead of them having to search inventory for 20 minutes to find it like I have had to do at other stores Not happy with: CON#1)part was significantly more flimsy than I expected, I have decided this is something I will not put on my house CON#2)part was shipped without proper packaging to secure the part, so the flimsy part was all bent up when it got to me COM#3)my decision to go with this cheap part, I should have instead spent more money considering this is a part that I planned on keeping on my house for decades NOTE1): I did not say I was happy with the price because I won't even be using it due to it not being robust enough for construction in my opinion (I didn't go back to the store to attempt to return the part because I would have take time to drive there yet again..so I will wait til I need to go there for something else) NOTE2): I am a DIY guy and I have never worked in construction (I am an engineer) Quick Summary: I suggest to spend more money on a better design
