Existing pipe boot repair and preventative maintenance -The Perma-Boot is a gasket-less two piece pipe boot repair system designed to permanently repair the most common type of roof leak - the leak around the vent pipes that penetrate your roof. The Perma-Boot can also be used as a very effective preventative maintenance product to guard against future roof leaks and the resulting damage to sheetrock, insulation, paint and hardwood floors etc. The Perma-Boot will stand up to all weather extremes and is warranted for the life of the existing shingle. The correct size boot! Held on during hurricane Irma, had no issues.

Does it matter how long your pipe. Mine looks longer than the video. Not sure if it matters when you put the top on?

Measure the outside diameter of the vent pipe. Or if its newer pipe, see if you can see if the size is written on it somewhere.

Vent Pipe Repair the easy way
Needs some instructions, but when fitted, works perfectly. Doesn’t necessarily need nailing, just use some strong caulk on the pipe section

No leaks so far. Hurricane passed by a week after install. We got about 3" of rain and everything stayed dry. Too early to evaluate long-term performance.
