Product Details

Permafloat Performance Dock Flotation is just one in a family of 50 different sizes of floats designed to offer durable flotation for new and existing dock systems. Permafloat floats feature seamless, rugged, rotationally molded construction using Linear Low Density Polyethylene, resulting in excellent resistance to salt water, fresh water, oil and gas. In addition, they are manufactured from material containing an embedded additive to resist both long- and short-term damage from UV light.

Can be used with new or existing, wood, steel or aluminum docking systems to provide stable and durable flotation.
Nominal wall thickness: 0.150".
Ribbed profile to withstand wave action and resist impact.
Permafloat floats incorporate a 1.5" thick mounting flange, providing superior stability and strength, and enabling easy tool access for ease of Installation.
Flash dot reflective dock finder included.
Manufactured to the industry standard Hunt test.
Meets Regulation #36 CFR part 327, a requirement for installation in lakes and reservoirs controlled by the Corp of Engineers.
Filled with expanded polystyrene to ensure minimal loss of buoyancy if accidently punctured.

A: They have beads. Whether or not they will absorb water I don't know. The plugs would keep water from coming into the top of the floats.

Bad Quality Control

3 of the 4 floats shipped had no threaded insert installed in which to attach the supplied plugs. Because of this I have not been able to use the product yet.

The floats are good. The problem was that they were...

The floats are good. The problem was that they were delivered 2 weeks late and only 4 of 6 got delivered and the plugs were missing. There was a large check that was depending on them being delivered complete and on time. I do not recommend buying them thru Home Depot.

Float did not come with the plug and dock finder...

Float did not come with the plug and dock finder stickers as advertised. I gave negative feedback about this issue the day I purchased and picked it up with no response or resolve.
