Product Details

Permafloat Performance Dock Flotation is just one in a family of 50 different sizes of floats designed to offer durable flotation for new and existing dock systems. Permafloat floats feature seamless, rugged, rotationally molded construction using Linear Low Density Polyethylene, resulting in excellent resistance to salt water, fresh water, oil and gas. In addition, they are manufactured from material containing an embedded additive to resist both long- and short-term damage from UV light.

Manufactured in the USA.
Can be used with new or existing, wood, steel or aluminum docking systems to provide stable and durable flotation.
Nominal wall thickness: 0.150".
Ribbed profile to withstand wave action and resist impact.
Permafloat floats incorporate a 1.5" thick mounting flange, providing superior stability and strength, and enabling easy tool access for ease of Installation.
Flash dot reflective dock finder included.
Manufactured to the industry standard Hunt test.
Meets Regulation #36 CFR part 327, a requirement for installation in lakes and reservoirs controlled by the Corp of Engineers.
Filled with expanded polystyrene to ensure minimal loss of buoyancy if accidently punctured.

A: Literature says 2x6 adequate for a pond but I used 2x8 and think that is better. I used 16 inch floats as they have greater buoyancy and raise dock higher out of water.

Q:Can these be left in the lake in winter? The ice usually gets about 3 feet thick.

These floats are very well made and were easy to...

These floats are very well made and were easy to mount. They hold our little fishing dock high up out of the water. It is very stable and can now hold a bunch of people without tipping or settling down in the water. They're not cheap, but are worth the money for the quality.
