Sturdier than other reviewers say
When assembled properly using supplied screws, proper screw used each position, each sub unit screwed together lose then tightened with all fasteners in place and screwed tightly, there was NO misalignment in the holes and the assembled structure is exceptionally sturdy (ladies- have a man do it.) So solid my 15 lb Male Maine Coon mix does not even giggle it. I could even sit on it. Furdinand started using it as soon as he was properly introduced and he does not adapt to new things very well.

Easy to assemble, but the durability of the top level is sketchy. The cube top press board was not structurally sound and made it a wobbly top platform. I took the top platform off to avoid danger to my house and pets. I kept the post and platform as a separate scratching post.
This would be great if you start your kitten out with it to grow with, but my older cats do not like the smaller platforms and mostly avoid it.

My cat Izzy was always getting into trouble with climbing and clawing where she shouldn't be until we bought the Petmaker skyscraper'! She "loves" to play, sleep and climb on it. She spends most of her day on top looking at the birds outside. It's sturdy when she runs and jumps up on it. It was also easy to assemble and far exceeded my expectations. Incredible!
This is an amazing cat tree. My cats love it! They use all the features - perches, cubby holes, scratching posts. The hanging mice continue to entertain after months. Easy to assemble - and I'm not handy. Very sturdy and heavy.
