Black. But, it's basically invisible after installing.
I would have to say it should, I do not have any pine needles but it should it is so tightly woven that it should do it.
It’s not like metal screen. If a dog (or cat) were to paw it the screen would tear.
Nope. I have two dogs and they go through these pretty quickly. I'm going to have to get something that's a bit tougher instead.
It is a black screen, but once installed you would never know it was black....very subtle and is of a mesh type material which is very easy to work with.
According to the Phifer brochure on BetterView Screens yes it is fiberglass, coated with a protective vinyl.
Our porch faces West and the screen has definitely helped keeping it cooler during the afternoon sun.
I don't work for home depot, but I think it may be fiberglass. https://www.phifer.com/product/bettervue/
I don’t know. But the quality is fantastic. I re-screened the windows in our bedrooms and living room and the patio door. It looked great and performed as expected.
If your deck has an aluminum frame it might have a groove in it for installing screening. You can buy a tool and spline at Home Depot that will allow you to install the screen into this groove. If your window has the same groove you might be able to do the same with it. If your deck or window don't have an aluminum frame with a groove for screen you will most likely have to build a simple frame to install. There are videos on YouTube that will show you haw to install it both ways.
