32-Piece 10 lbs. Picture Hanging Kit Hangs Pics Up (4-Pack)

This was a, I wonder if these will work, type of purchase. Hanging 3 canvas pictures. Found center-point on wall & pictures. Attached hangers, imprinted wall, nailed and whalla!

I never write reviews but I had to for the PicGenie123. I used it to install a collection of 30 framed photos in a room. Every one of them is perfect! It worked exactly as advertised. Would highly recommend to anyone who has more than one frame to hang.

Overall, I like these hanging kits because of how relatively easy they make the process of hanging framed items. Unfortunately, I rarely need to install new hardware on the artwork that I’m hanging on my walls, so this isn’t a product I foresee using too often. While the kits come with all necessary hardware included to hang up to 4 items (hangers and nails/screws (depending on the kits’ intended weight capacity), you’ll still need to have a measuring tape, level, and hammer, drill, and screwdriver available to complete the install. Not a big deal, but something to keep in mind. The “bright idea” of this product is that “Picture hangs straight even when Accu-Hangers are not.” This is accomplished because of the marking tabs on the hangers, and the process works really well when done correctly (I recommend watching the product’s how to video on the Home Depot website). As stated above, though, my issue is that most of the artwork I have or get already has hanging hardware attached to the frames, so I rarely have a need to install my own hanging hardware onto frames (which is the entire secret of this product). The other challenge is that the frame needs to be either wood or some other material you can drill into since the hangers are attached to the frame with small screws. If you’re using a small plastic frame, for example, this product would likely not work for you. This issue is why I give the product only 4 stars ... I just don’t had a regular use for it. Again, these kits work really well if you want to be able to hang artwork on your walls without the usual struggle of figuring out where to place screws/nails to hang it level and at the height you want. Definitely a smart solution. Note that they make these kits for different size hangings: up to 10 pounds, up to 30 pounds, and up to 50 pounds.

I was dreading hanging six painted panels but I found this product and it made it so easy. Worth every penny.

I consider myself pretty handy and I've done everything from changing a chandelier to building a headboard but hanging pictures on the wall was never hard but... I'll spare you the details and just say this at the very least cuts down on the effort to hang anything. I hung these two pictures in under 5 minutes where I'd probably be triple checking lines and adjustments so the outcome for me would of been the same but the ease of use is great. They have a video on their website incase you want a visual of how easy this system is.

Very easy to use and holds up a lot of weight. I especially like how easy it is to hang a picture level.

This is a great solution for quickly and easily hanging picture frames and other light objects on the wall. The same company also makes similar hardware for heavier items up to 50 lbs for hanging things like mirrors. I used a 1/16" drill bit for pilot holes on the screws that hold the hardware to the frame, being sure not to drill all the way through. No need to line anything up, just throw two brackets on the top back of the frame and you're ready to go. Then just line up where you want it on the wall, check for level, and push against the wall to mark the nail locations. Once that's done, the marking points snap off the frame hardware easily, and you can place two nails in the wall indentations they made. Then it's a simple matter of placing the picture on the nails. Perfect results, without any hassle!

I seldom hang pictures because I feel it is so much trouble. After I try Picgenie123, I find hanging is so easy. I don't need to use ruler to measure the distance between two nails. Many hanging tools attached to the product are different. Sometimes they provide holes or a small hook. By using PicGenie123, I don't need to adjust my way of hanging when the original hanging attachments are different. I just follow the three steps and I can hang many types of things by myself. This is a great product!

These are quite easy to use, just attach the hangers to the picture frame, put the picture against the wall, level the picture and give a push on the frame over where the hangers are. the little nubs on the hangers will leave a mark on the wall where you need to install the nails (or for the 30 and 50 pound kits the drywall anchors), when you are done marking the wall just break off the tabs and hang the picture. These kits are designed to use 2 hangers per frame and do not work well if you try to use just one hanger per frame because you would have to have them exactly in the center of the frame. If you are working on paneling you may need to put some paint, lipstick or similar on the nubs to be able to see where the nails need to be. The nails that come with the kit appear to be aluminum and do not like to go into anything very hard, but you can replace them with similar sized steel nails or screws. All in all a decent kit that works well for most pictures, I had a couple of pictures that had a cardboard back and a plastic frame, the screws that attach the hangers to the frame were to long to work with those. Note: as part of the seeds program I was sent the 30 and 50 pound kits also, the only difference was that both of those have drywall anchors and the 50 pound kit has thicker nails.

These are not the $0.10 picture hooks, or a simple nail in the wall. Pick the properly rated one for your task! These are designed for heavier items; large mirrors, big framed pictures etc. Rated at 10 to 50 pound range. Obviously dependant on the wall strusture. The package includes a couple of brackest pairs for the iten to hang, and various wall anchors. Anchoring into wall studs ~ 50 pounds for a pair, drywall (with the included self tapping anchors) ~ 30 pounds a pair. You attach a bracket pair to the item, place it where you want it to be, press the item into the wall and it will leave a couple of small indents. Using those 'indents' choose the appropriate wall fasteners, and finalize location. For heavy stuff, go for studs! Snap the bracket apart, use one of the included nails, or a fine tipped pliers. Attach the 'hook' to the wall and hang the item. They sort of self level, that is the wall point fits into the picture groove. I would still put a level on the frame before marking the final position.
