I have a 12,000 square ft
I was told on this chat by a Pioneer representative in February that this unit would work and be powered with solar panels, My next question is how many solar panels, or how many kw will run this AC/DC mini split? Thanks! Wayne
This is NOT an AC-DC product.. It needs to be powered by AC power only. You need solar power and a power inverter to supply AS voltage. How many panels, depends on panel size. You need to have 1,500 watts average solar power supply available for this 12000 BTU model.
I live in an area that in the winter the outside temperature reaches -20 F, will this unit still work?
Hello! That's a great question. To address this scenario, we've launched our Hyper Heat series of heat pumps. They can continue reliably heating down to -22°F outside temperatures at a high efficiency! The 12,000 BTU version is available under Home Depot item number 338806202.
I keep getting error code E9/P0. The electrical connections look good and are wired correctly and not loose. The valves are open. What can be the issue?
