What is the spacing between the 4 holes?

Is this two seperate pieces ??
The Commercial Grade Pipe Sleeve has 3 pieces. 1. A back plate that connects to the dock frame and includes bolts, washers and nuts for attaching the pipe strap. 2. A strap that wraps around the pipe to hold it in place. This also includes two bolts and shoulder nuts that tighten to the pipe for Roll in and Stationary docks 3. I am considering a Playstar aluminum deck. I would prefer to mount the pipe sleeve inside the frame. Will that work (i.e. will the holes line up. Thanks.
Yes, but you will need to make sure deck have opening for the pipe to go through.
The sleeves are designed to be mounted on the outside of the frame, on the sides or the ends. If mounted on the inside the holes should align but then the pipes would need to be cut to the proper length and you would loose the ability to adjust the height of the deck.
I used them for polls on my dock they work great never had a problem.
There is an inside corner piece on the Aluminum Dock frame that would make it difficult to mount the pipe sleeves on the inside. It would also be very difficult to adjust the height of the dock mounted in this manner. Does 1.5” shedule 40 galvanized pipe fit in this pipe sleeve? I believe 1.5” schedule 40 has an OD of 1.9”?

Playstar, I like your products, but you need to edit your specification for your pipe sleeves; there is no such thing as pipe given by OD; 1-7/8" pipe doesn't exist. 1.5" nominal pipe has an OD of 1.9", which is rounded up from 1-7/8" (1.875, or 1.9"). Please just say "designed to be used with schedule 40 1.5" pipe".
Can this be used on salt water dock?
No, this cannot be used with salt water.
We cannot recommend. Salt Water or "brackish" water will affect the hot dipped galvanized metal brackets and hardware. According to the American Galvanizers Association, Galvanized coatings provide considerable protection to steel immersed in sea water and exposed to salt spray. The factors that influence the corrosion of zinc in fresh water also apply to sea water. However, it is the dissolved salts (primarily sulfides and chlorides) in sea water that are the principal determinants of the corrosion behavior of zinc immersed in sea water. Given the high level of chloride in sea water, a very high rate of zinc corrosion might be expected. However, the presence of magnesium and calcium ions in sea water has a strong inhibiting effect on zinc corrosion in this type of environment. Yes, although there is no plate on the oppposite side of the eood box header. You simply buy some square shouldereed 5/16" bolts and washers.
