I used these tablets to clean my dishwasher and washing machine. The lemon scent is very strong. Dishwasher: I placed the tablet at the base of the dishwasher like the instructions say and filled up the dishwasher with dirty dishes. The package says the scent neutralizes scents from the dirty dishes; I'm not sure if that is the case or if the tablet is so strongly scented you just can't smell anything else. After I ran the load the dishwasher walls certainly looked cleaner and shinier so I feel like the tablet did its job. Washing Machine: I placed the tablet in an empty basin and ran a hot normal wash. The washing machine smelled much fresher during the wash. I did not smell remnant lemon scent at the end, which I thought was good. There was a tiny bit of granules from the tablet left on parts of my washing machine walls from the tablet but this was negligible. I think overall my washing machine was left cleaner than it started, though it is hard to tell. Over all, I think it's a good product. However, I usually clean both of my machines with vinegar or baking soda and I feel like those work just as well.

Its a good thing that these came because my wife was complaining that the dishwasher needed cleaning...we put the Plink 4-count Freshener and cleaner in the bottom of the dishwasher with a load of dishes and a dishwasher tablet. She was pleasantly surprised with the effectiveness of the product. The dishes came out clean and the dishwasher was refreshed. It wasn't sparkling clean, (although our dishwasher is old now), but, it did the trick.

This product couldn't be easier to use. Just toss it into your washing machine and tell the machine to run a normal cycle using hot water. That's all there is to it. When done, your washer will smell like it has been cleaned with a lemon-based cleaner. I haven't tried with my dishwasher yet but I would expect the same results from it. I'm tempted to try it with my garbage disposal even though there's no mention of such a use on the package.

These plink fresheners and cleaners worked well in the dishwasher. Although there were not any bad odors, after placing this tab in the dishwasher the overall scent was fresh and clean. I also have used them in the washer and after the cycle noticed a fresh scent coming from the washing machine. These would be great to use in your washer after a time of non-use leaving a fresh scent. I recommend this product.

We use Plink all the time for our kitchen sink disposal, so I jumped at the chance to use these. These Plink tablets are formulated for use in either your washing machine, or dishwasher. For the washing machine, you just drop one into the washer without any clothes, and run a normal cycle. For the dishwasher, plop one on the bottom, load your dishes and detergent, and run your cycle. At the end of either the washing machine, or dishwasher, both came out clean and shinny with a pleasant lemon smell, just as we're used to with using ours for the garbage disposal. Really like them a lot, and highly recommend using this.

I have used this product twice in my dishwasher, once without dishes and the other time with dishes in the washer. Both times and it made the stainless steel inside almost clean and the odors were gone from the dirty dishes and the interior of the dishwasher. It does not get all stains off the stainless, but stainless steel cleanser should take off the stains. It was easy to use, just pop one under the dishes and run the machine.

The package of "Plink" washer and dishwasher tablets that both clean and freshen the appliances arrived 4 days ago. In that time, I've used these well-made, lemon-scented, easy-to-use tablets in both of my appliances following the manufacturer's directions printed on the back of the package. In the clothes washer [without a load of clothes], this amazing tablet removed all the built-up, odor-causing residue that I previously would smell in the washer. In the dishwasher, after using another tablet there for a wash cycle [along with a load of dirty dishes], the dishwasher's foul odor was also gone. I'm very pleased with these new tablets for my appliances and will be using them regularly now. Thank you to the "Summit Brands" manufacturer for these "Plink" tablets!
