Hello I have an existing octagon gable vent and the cutout size 19 1/2? X 19 1/2? will this fit and install ok in that space? If so can it mounted in n flat tongue and groove siding Thank you
The cutout width is 10.5 inches, so it will not fit in the 19.5 inch cutout.
What size and shape should the hole in the wall be? I see "cut out 10.5 inches wide" but is this circular? Square? a height is not given. Thanks
The cut out is actually square - dimensions10 in W x 12-1/2 in H.
Template was in the box. Easy to mark out.
it says two piece item, is one set inside structure ? do they caonnect by screwing together?
The 2 pieces are a base and then vent. Install the base first, then snap the vent on. Please refer to the installation guide page 40 for specific details
