I have use this metal post for new fencing and to repair fencing with posts that have rotted at the bottom. I was able to keep the existing post and concrete base in place, and simply add this metal post midspan in concrete between the old rotted posts. Saved so much time and effort -well worth the investment. I live in a windy area with a high water table - most pressure treated posts don't last more than 10 to 12 years, so this is a long-term solution.

Met my expectations, although expensive. Needed 68 to do my back yard, which didn't come cheap. I wish they were about $8-10 less expensive. Also, had to search for days to find a vendor who would sell me the corner brackets because Postmaster will not sell them direct. What a pain in the butt. Not sure if they are US or imported steel; I would like to know.
