Nice Looking Affordable No Maintenance Mailbox
This mailbox is very nice looking with the added benefit of being no maintenance since it is made of plastic vs metal. It was very affordable (less than $23) compared to many other mailboxes.

"I did good" LOL. I was afraid it would cheap, but I was wrong. I've received nothing but compliments. I would recommend making the latch a little more sturdy.

A Stylish Mailbox For The Price.
This mailbox is a replacement for another mailbox installed by the last people who lived in my house. I wanted something that had some style but not go for my checkbook to get style. I wanted a mailbox that would also withstand the elements here in Florida and not rust because of the saltwater environment I live near. Very easy to install and pretty solid for a plastic constructed mailbox.

This is an awesome product and it looks so good with our new mailbox post that I recently bought. This mailbox is made out of very sturdy plastic and will never rust like the metal ones you can buy. This was my best purchase I've made in a long time and I did research other vendors and this was the best product at the best price. I am sure that my mailman is very happy too because the front door is easy to open and closes tight. The red flag is already installed, so there is no installation needed except mounting it on your post. I love the door with the Gold lettering and the style is perfect match to my post. I would recommend this product to anyone that wants the best mailbox in your neighborhood. You will be the envy of the neighborhood! LOL

I just put this mailbox up and it looks very nice. I prefer the plastic models because they don't rust and can take an occasional hit without denting. My issue with this product was in installing it. Almost all of the mailboxes shown at Home Depot are supposedly "easily installed on a standard 4 inch Post". But all of the posts they sell are only 3 and a half inches wide. (I am talking about the posts with an arm coming out front to hold the box). No problem you might say ,just let it hang over a little on each side. So here is the problem. To allow the door to properly open you will need to hang the front of the box a little bit off the front of the post. Unfortunately there is a half inch lip running around the bottom of the box so if the back of the lip is sitting on the post arm and the front lip is not your box will be pitched forward. There are two ways of attaching the box to a post arm. You will either use the pre-drilled holes on the inside bottom of the box or use the pre-drilled holes on the outside of the lower lip. Unfortunately the inside holes provided are made for a 4 inch post so you will have to drill hew holes, you will also need a really short screwdriver to get in there, and the box will still be leaning downward. If you decide to use the holes on the sides of the lip you will find that the outside holes do not meet up with any of the wood from the post. The answer is that you need either a store bought bracket or a homemade one. I cut a plank of wood to the approximate size of the box that would fit into that lip area. I then screwed that plank on top of the post arm. I could then just place the box over the plank which was now hidden by the lip. Now I could fastened the box to the plank using the screw holes on the sides of the box. All of this will seem obvious to experienced home fixer-uppers but it would be frustrating to a newcomer who doesn't just happen to have a pile of scrap lumber or a lifetime collection of assorted screws in their tool box. Doing it my way I was able to do all of the screwing with a power drill. I can't imagine some poor soul trying to drill screws into a piece of pressure treated post wood with one of those stubby little screwdrivers. Better still the makers might have actually included a little scrap of paper showing possible methods of attachment. There were no instructions at all and nothing printed on the box saying additional parts needed (Such as screws). It would be neat if a mail box manufacturer included a matching plastic bracket panel that could be fastened to the post arm and then the box could fasten to the panel using side screws." Easy Pizie."
