The door is aluminum. The body of the mailbox is steel.
I bought this mailbox from HD, but I need a 9-inch wide platform for it. You seem to only sell 6-inch wide platforms. Any suggestions?
The mounting board does not need to be as wide as the mailbox. This mailbox has an 8 wide recessed underside. Simply center the 6 wide board (or brackets) leaving 1 on each side.
Is the door metal, or plastic? Are the hinge pins metal, or plastic?

Does it come with predrilled holes for screws? If so how many and how far apart? Ex. 1 in center or 4 at 5"x5" square or 4 at 10"x4" rectangle or 4 at 6"x6" square.
The Manchester comes with predrilled holes in both the sides and the floor of the mailbox. There are two holes on each side 10.25" apart The holes in the floor of the mailbox form a 4" by 10" rectangle.
I have a pre-existing post, but it's a round pole. How could I affix this mailbox to the top of the pole?

How easy is it to apply address numbers on the mailbox? The design looks like it might make number placement awkward. What size numbers would fit best? Thank you.
There is 7 1/2" of space between the raised vertical features on the side of the Manchester Mailbox where address numbers can be applied. We suggest using 3" to 4" (height) numbers.
Installed in a masonry mailbox so could not add address numbers to side of the mailbox.
