My factory chain on my 16" Ego needed to be replaced. This fit the bar and I have not had any problems with it since. I probably made about 30 cuts so far no issues at all. I was able to reuse the packaging to hold my scrench, since my chainsaw does not have an auto tensioner.

Bought this as a spare for my Echo 16-in saw. I don't mind sharpening my own blade when I have time, but sometimes, it's just so much easier to buy a new one and get busy. I have taken down and limbed an 18" dia maple, plus cross-cut the large oak section pictured, and it's still cutting like butter! I make a habit of keeping a spare blade handy -as a homeowner, you just don't know when you'll need a chainsaw, and how big a job it will be. The cost of a blade is peanuts compared to the work you can do and the mess you can clear up - or create!

I had a 50' + maple tree that died a couple years ago that I needed to take down..Bought one of these chains for my electric saw and it went through the tree like a hot knife through butter...Some of the branches were 12" + in diameter...Definitely worth the purchase...

Tough as a nail. Bought in hopes that it would fit my 16 inch Remington 16 inch electric saw. Although not listed on the packaging, the chain looked very close to what it was to replace. I could not be certain without opening the package but purchased it knowing that Home Depot has an extraordinary return policy that favors customers. It fit the saw and performed perfectly cutting an 8 inch round fallen sour cherry tree. Sharp out of the package and held the edge through about 40 4 to 8 inch rounds and roughly the same number of limbs from 1.5 to 3 inches. (It was a big tree.) On another cutting project, I was cutting a 10 or 12 inch dead fir tree in our greenbelt when I hit a nail that somebody must have used to hang a bird bath. The chain slipped the bar but did not break. I've looked it over closely and cannot see the impact point so do not believe there is significant damage. I have not returned to that job so cannot attest to the continued sharpness. But I have no fear to use the chain and have every confidence that it will be as sharp and perform as as before.
