              They are about as thick as a medium throw blanket that you would find on someones couch. However, it has a padded quilted patern on the blanket surface, to help with cushioning. Hope this helps you

                Unacceptable! No padding and Not what they used to be!
                There are not moving pads there is no padding at all! It's also no longer made of fabric you actually can tear them like some sort of paper product. You literally can poke your finger through anywhere you want with barely any force, think about how that works with furniture. The stitching brand new is aleady coming unraveled. These are absolutely a major downgrade from what these use to be in recent years. They use to come as an actual padded blanket in a zipper bag. Not anymore, barely a one time use item and do not use on nice furniture!!!

                  Poor Quality- Used to be great.
                  Poor quality. The updated, outer layer is paper thin and tears immediately. Used to be great. The outer material has been updated in the last 6mo-1yr? I'm a closet installer and buy these all the time to cover fine floors, furniture and appliances. I'm a capitalist. Make as much $ as you can doing your thing, but not if you reduce the quality and keep the price the same or raise it. I won't purchase these again unless the quality improves. Terrible update.

                    Recent Quality way down!
                    Something has drastically changed with the quality of these blankets in the past few months since they started being sold in heat shrunk plastic bag versus the plastic zipper bag they used to come in. The stitching is rapidly becoming detached from the material and is not holding up after just a few times of use that the previous blankets would. Will need to start sourcing these somewhere else from now on.

                      allergens, eye irritants stay FAR away!!!
                      Moments after I opened this pack I knew something was wrong; my eyes immediately started itching and feeling like I had fibers stuck in them, not to mention the chemical smell that comes off of these blankets . When I started having skin itching (within 30 minutes of opening the packages and using these I knew it wasn't "in my head". A lint roller proved that these blankets FULL of black loose fibers that get all EVERYTHING HORRIBLE unhealthy CHEAP imported product stay away!!!!

                        Premium moving blanket
                        I ordered couple and used them for moving. Good materials. But one of them worn out and little holes popped out. It could be probably because of me but I don't remember using it roughly. Not sure about the reason. Nevertheless still a good product as expected.

                        Very Disappointed - black residue
                        Purchased two of these to protect a high-end dining table while moving and in storage. Put them over the top of the table over night (black side down, as shown in the picture.) This morning turned one corner back to show someone the inlaid top, and noticed what looking like a heavy dust. Turned out to be a black residue from the back like of the "premium" moving blanket. Have spent the past hour cleaning it off the table. Pictures are of the initial, quick wipe down. Needed to follow up with Guardsman Clean
