Hi! I think this is a gorgeous and functional piece; I'm curious to know the weight of this rotating media shelf. Also, is there any plan to offer it in a "naked" version if a customer should want to stain it a custom color?
The unit weighs 99Lbs once fully assembled, Currently it is only being manufactured in color options espresso and white, we currently do not offer a naked finish as all our units are finished with a paper laminate

I live in CA so one my concerns is earthquakes. How stable is this?
It is very heavy and stable. Mine is completely full with boxed sets stacked on top, and it's very sturdy. I love it
I've only ever experienced one earthquake so I'm not sure I'm the best person to answer. Fully loaded, it's rather stable but if quakes are a major issue, you could probably fasten the base to the floor or to a wider piece of plywood to give it greater stability.
Never been through an earthquake but it is very stable.
