Media cabinet

Just put this cabinet together Friday. Lots of pieces but easy instructions. Only complaint is the plastic slide bolt to hold the left door we could not get it attached so we put a magnetic closure in place. Much easier to latch door. Nice looking piece of furniture.

This media storage unit is easy to assemble and looks great. The instructions are easy to follow and they provided a few extra pieces just in case I lost one or two. Assembly can be accomplished by one person in a reasonable amount of time. The only down side was these old knees of mine were not happy sitting on the floor for the assembly. Hopefully your knees will be younger or better.

Horrid Latching

Had I the benefit of seeing this product in store, I never would have purchased it. The only way to keep the right-hand door closed is by locking it. The only way to keep the left-hand door closed is by reaching through the opened right hand door and latching it within the cabinet. I regret purchasing this cabinet.

I was pleased with the media storage. It was going well until I got to the sides and both sides were the same. Thank goodness to have a carpenter in the house. New holes had to be drilled to attach the hinges, on the right side. Then I had a rough, unfinished edge that showed and had to stain that. All in all it worked out. But was disappointed that we had to go to all of the trouble to make things right.
