I bought this to stain my wooden trailer and an outdoor table. Being oil-based I know it will outlast latex "stain" which is really just paint. Also, the wood grain looks really nice now. Wood buy again.

TIME TO GET THOSE JOBS DONE
I have let a few area's of my wooden decking and porches go without updating the protection for way too long. Though I just used this on a small porch I will go out and use it on the decking around an outdoor shed. This Preserva product is a thin stain with sealant and I got it in an color called Rubicon Red. It's oil based so I brushed it on with a cheaper brush because I hate clean-up and just would rather throw away the brush. It was not so dark as to cover the stains and years of mistreatment I allowed this porch rarely used to go under, but it's only there for insurance purposes. As you can see by the pictures if I keep up with a yearly routine that this porch will last forever. It gives just the right amount of cover if you are like me and want to see the natural grains show through. I wish I'd had treated this ten years ago.
What a simple product to apply by brush and I imagine if you have a large deck coverage pad would be even easier.

Best product I ever used on log's
This product has held upper better then anything I have used over the last 50 years, when I find a store that sells this product I will be buying more of it. The color has held up outstanding & the protection it has provided to the wood is the best. I would recommend this product to everyone. Home Depot 2 years ago gave me 2 free gallons and I am now willing to pay for this product. I can't say enough on how good of product this is.

Good stuff. If you need 3 gallons or more go for the 5 gallon bucket, price is about the same for 3 vs. 5. Oils are terrible to work with and this is no exception, but no worse than the others. Maintain good wet line and you'll be pleased with the performance. Lasts quite a while, was very pleased. I'm in Colorado at high elevation, and this holds up pretty good to our intense sun and dynamic seasons.
