        Q:What flag pole is typically bought with this item? I can only find 1in and not 3/4 in poles.

        A:  I bought my US Flag Kit about 30-years ago which has 3/4" diameter 2-piece steel poles. I went to the Home Depot website and also found 1" pole diameters or no diameters indicated. I don't know if anyone sells 3/4" flagpoles anymore, maybe on E-Bay they are available.

            Attachment holes are designed to break the bracket. The holes need to be in the top so more screws are in tension. The two screws in the bottom carry only shear and one is plenty since the top also carry the shear. I drilled two more holes aligned with top hole so three screws carry the tension now
