Shower Door Bottom Sweep, 36 in L X 5/32 in W, Vinyl, Clear

A:  In my shower door there's a small plastic tab, held in place with a small Philips head screw, on the track where the strip is installed, no need to remove the door. After removing the screw and tab, the old strip slides out. Cut the new strip to be as long as the old one, then just slide in the new strip in the track at the bottom of the door. Then just put the old tab in place and the screw Do yourself a favor and put some silicone or anti-seize compound on the screw so it's easy to remove next time strip replacement is needed.

A:  No, the door does not have to be removed. There is a groove in the bottom or the door. The sweep has a matching Grove. Pull the old sweep out and clean the the groove in the door. Unroll the new sweep. You might want to lubricate the new sweep with dish soap and slide into the groove on the door.

A:  No, there's usually a channel on the bottom of the door. You slide the sweep into the channel (it might be a little hard to slide, but slow & steady).

A:  Yes, it simply slides back into the slot/grove of track. Some tracks are crimped on the end. If this is the case, insert a small flat blade screw and give a slight twist. This will open crimp to aid in removal and installation.

A:  No caulking needed. It merely slides into place. I did have to cut it to length and I did trim the bottom so it matched the taper of the bottom of my shower door, but no caulking.

A:  It is in a roll, however there is not enough for more than one door. The extra will not be enough for another door, even a narrow one.
