A: Regular boards have defects and can warp, might be slightly bowed... The other uses cut off pieces of defect free wood glued together and primed to hide that they are glued together pieces
A: Prime link is finger jointed wood and a regular board is a solid piece of wood
A: Primelink board is composed of pieces of regular pine board, joined with finger joints. IMHO, this process probably results in less "twist" and "warp". Probably not quite the strength of a regular board, but if for light/medium duty and only simply painting, this will do the trick nicely.
A: It's primed for painting without streaks.
A: Primelinx is made it bunch of smaller pieces joined together with “finger joints” and end glued very precisely rather than one long continuous piece of wood. This tends to make it ideal for painted trim but not stained trim. Finger jointed wood tends to be straighter, free from warping, and has less natural defects than one continuous piece. It is great for use indoors. When used outdoors, be sure it is properly painted to protect from the elements.
